Magellan donates eXplorist 200's for National Scout Jamboree
Magellan announced today that they will sponsor a geocaching course at the Boy Scout National Jamboree in Virginia, which runs from July 25th through August 3rd. This will be the first time that the boy scouts will teach advanced navigation using the GPS. Magellan will donate their eXplorist 200 handheld models that offer easy to use interface. Sounds like fun. So, let me think, 40,000+ scouts on 73,000 acres looking for geocaches across one week's time.... that adds up to a lot of batteries.
