Data obsessed drive GPS use
Sales of GPSs are being driven by a lot of people who are data obsessed these days claims the NY Times.
Come on what is the problem with wondering where you are, what your heart rate was at the time and what is the altitude? Well today the NYT took a quick look into some of these devices, including highlighting the Garmin Forerunner 301 (wrist mounted GPS with heart rate monitor - shown here). While the argument rages on the subject of injecting too much technology into an otherwise pleasurable outing, we ask, Why not, isnt that part of the fun?
