Want a Free Garmin eTrex? Buy a Segway

Segway has announced that buyers of the Segway Human Transporter will receive a free Garmin eTrex Legend or Legend C with the purchase of various models of the Segway HT. The offer is good through January 6, 2006. This is the latest thing to add to your Segway to trick it out; head lights and blinking tail lights are also available.

In addition to the free Garmin eTrex, customers receive a custom Segway HT mount and either MapSource MetroGuide (Legend) or MapSource City Select(Legend C). Both products offer detailed maps of roads and pedestrian thoroughfares throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico - with locations of millions of points of interest - like restaurants, hotels, ATMs, movie theaters, and other attractions. Users can load and display portions of this data directly onto their eTrex Legend or Legend C via a PC.

Current owners can also purchase the Garmin eTrex Legend ($399) or Legend C ($499) GPS, with the included software and custom Segway HT mount, for their Segway HT from any Segway authorized dealer.
