Pharos Launches the Traveler GPS 505

Pharos has launched the Traveler 505, an easy to use all-in-one device that has a wide screen for a handheld, voice prompting and pre-loaded Points of Interest. Take it with you or take it on the road, the Pharos Traveler 505 comes equipped with the SiRF Star III receiver chipset, known for high accuracy and low power consumption.

The software provided gives voice guidance with turn-by-turn directions. The Pharos Traveler also includes a Traffic Message Channel (TMC) driver for future usages of real-time traffic and other location-based information.

The Pharos Traveler 505 can sync with Outlook to save users time by allowing them to quickly download their addresses to their device versus entering one at a time. Plus, the device speaks while presenting your route on a large, color, touch-screen display.
