Mio announces Seven new devices at CeBIT - The A710

New Mio devices combine innovative wireless communications, multimedia entertainment, and stylish design.
At CeBIT, Mio Technology Ltd., a leading worldwide supplier of personal navigation GPS systems, will showcase seven new devices that offer stylish form and innovative function. The products define Mio Technology’s commitment to combining wireless communications, multimedia entertainment and sleek design.

During CeBIT — one of the world’s largest information technology exhibitions, running March 9–15 — Mio Technology will display a GPS-capable mobile phone, two personal navigation assistants (PNA), three GPS personal digital assistants (PDAs), and one in-vehicle GPS device. The Mio Technology product line features devices ideal for travel, leisure activities, entertainment and personal information management.

* Mio DigiWalker P550 and P350 — GPS and PDA devices which offer powerful handheld computer functionality, enabling users to manage their schedule, take meeting notes and e-mail. The Mio DigiWalker P550 combines Bluetooth connectivity with WiFi, making it a comprehensive solution for wireless data communications.

* Mio DigiWalker A710 — a new navigation device that integrates PDA and mobile phone functionalities.

* Mio DigiWalker C710 and C510 — new personal navigation devices that offer Bluetooth connectivity as a standard feature. Both devices also include multimedia entertainment features, such as MP3 playback and photo display capabilities.

* Mio DigiWalker H610 and C210 — GPS products with stylish designs. The Mio DigiWalker H610 is a portable device and the Mio DigiWalker C210 is designed for use in a vehicle, with a touch-screen display providing an intuitive interface that allows users to control navigation features even while driving.

“Consumers are looking for mobile devices that include satellite navigation, and since the introduction of the Mio DigiWalker 168, Mio has delivered,” said Kiyoshi Hamai, North American sales director, Mio Technology Ltd. “As our GPS systems evolve we’re able to meet customers’ diverse needs in a single device, integrating navigation, mobile communications, entertainment and personal information management.”
