Plan a Roadtrip - Win $25,000
We want to call your attention to a new promotional game that seems to be well suited to those who are into GPS's and are GPS inclined. There is $160,000 in prizes up for grabs in this, and the first prize is $25,000. Not bad for a little computational work on how many miles a particular road trip will take. Basically each week clues will be posted to the UpYourBudget blog.

The object is to be the first contestant to guess and submit the exact number of total miles for the journey. In the event that the exact number of miles is not submitted, the first submission closest to the exact number of total miles without going over will win. To accurately calculate the total miles, contestants will need to figure out the exact course of the journey. You'll have to read more at the contest website. The contest runs 4 weeks, and clues will be posted starting on Monday, and the winner will be announced each Friday of that week. So, get out your mapping software and get to it! The contest is sponsored by Budget Rent a Car and run by the guys from Weird US - the TV show on the History Channel and authors of the books.
