TeleType WorldNav 3100 GPS with Video, and MP3

TeleType has just released the WorldNav 3100 that blends cutting-edge vehicle GPS navigation with MP3 and Video player technology. The WorldNav 3100 goes a step beyond other GPS units by offering the Video capability at such a bargain price. Two configurations are offered at $399 and $449. The unit has a 3.5" touch screen, a rechargeable lithium ion battery and the SiRF star III chipset. (ReadMore at our article – “What is the SiRF star III chipset”)

Based on TeleType’s award-winning GPS product line, the WorldNav 3100 is a compact system that weighs only 6 ounces. The device is user-friendly and simple to operate, making it easy for drivers to get from Point A to Point B. To operate the system, drivers touch the screen where a simple menu is presented just like in-dash navigation systems. The driver is then guided along their desired route effortlessly. Drivers can navigate directly to a point of interest (POI) using the extensive POI database included, or a business, home address, or even a desired street intersection.

WorldNav 3100 features and benefits:

      Being a truck driver I was not reluctant to use this device as I am not use to electronics gadgets, but after I learned how to use this device from my fellow truck drivers. I would not go any where without my GPS especially when in a different city GPS are a great excellent easy way to get around a strange place.

      Has anyone Modified the Worldnav 3100 to run the tomtom vxx maps. If so how?

      ps. I know it voids the warranty. Don't waste your time asking me why.
