New GPS: Lowrance iWay 250C

lowrance250c.jpg

Lowrance announced the launch of their Lorance iWay 250C GPS, a well priced mid-Tier GPS for a list price of $349. The iWay 250C will come equipped with a 3.5 inch touch screen, with pre-installed NAVTEQ maps for the US and Canada. The unit gives voice turn cues, as well as a load of common features like: street address search, avoid toll roads, and play your MP3’s. It will also show your pictures in JPG format. Expect it to hit shelves this Fall.

From the basic description, it sounds like the iWay 350C, so the jury is out on what happens to the iWay 350C this fall, upgrade? Discontinue? We’ll try to find out for you.
