NAVTEQ Announces Dynamic Traffic Content for Mobile Networks
NAVTEQ has announced the availability of NAVTEQ Traffic Mobile, a service that provides continuously updated, average traffic flow speed as well as incident and construction information for 67 major metropolitan U.S. markets. NAVTEQ Traffic Mobile is available for GPS navigation applications, distributed via cellular network providers seeking subscriber relevant products and services. Wow, Map provider and now traffic too.
Telmap, developer of the Telmap Navigator turn-by-turn navigation software, is a provider of the technology that delivers NAVTEQ’s Traffic Mobile information to the user’s navigation system. Telmap Navigator will be exhibited on various mobile devices and platforms at NAVTEQ’s booth during the 2006 CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment convention opening today in Los Angeles. Telmap is the first company demonstrating NAVTEQ Traffic Mobile.
