New GPS: Navman F20
Navman announced today a new entry-level addition to its line of in-vehicle navigation products, the Navman F20. The basic unit comes in a flat form factor for less that $400, including a bunch of decent entry-level features: full maps, SiRF star III chipset, and an onboard battery. Looks like everyone is diving for the low end these days, just in time for the Holiday buying season.
Providing clear turn-by-turn voice guidance along with detailed street maps displayed on a 3.5-inch color touchscreen, destinations can be easily entered into the F20 using new finger-friendly screens, by street address, intersection, zip code or by selecting from the extensive list of Points of Interest (POIs). With preloaded Tele Atlas map data for all of the United States; convenient dedicated buttons to locate nearest gas stations and parking facilities; exclusive Back on Track(TM) technology; high quality internal speaker; anti-glare touchscreen for maximum visibility in all lighting conditions; and second-generation SiRFstarIII chipset for rapid satellite acquisition, the Navman F20 delivers true navigation freedom.
The Navman F20 features a high quality, slim and portable design that weighs 7.1-ounces and measures 3.13-inches (H) x 4.57-inches (W) x 0.95-inches (D). Its integrated rechargeable Li-ION battery provides up to 3.5 hours of battery life allowing the F20 to function both inside and outside of a vehicle. The Navman F20 comes complete with a vehicle mounting bracket and vehicle power adapter.
Navman's F20 is currently available at electronics stores nationwide and competitively priced at U.S. $379.95.
