Nokia GPS

nokia-330-1.jpg

Well, add Nokia to the GPS rumble; it looks like they are moving into the GPS fray with some early reports coming out of Engadget. They are showing a Nokia 330 tablet that is clearly a GPS unit, and not a slick pocketable phone. It wouldn't be surprising to have Nokia join the GPS party, as they clearly have the ability to innovate and the party is growing so darn fast. What is interesting is that the shot above has a Route 66 icon in the upper left corner of the screen. While this doesn't appear to be a re-branding of the new Route 66 Chicago series widescreen GPS units, one has to wonder what the relationship might be?

Anyway, the unit has Navigation, movie, picture viewing and music playback on the menu. (See Pic after the jump).
