GiveGive now $100 off a TomTom - Rebate Form Here

TomTom decided to juice up the holiday sales a bit more by continuing the GiveGive rebates, and doubling the amount in the process. The Rebate Form is valid for purchases between 11/22/06 and 1/3/07 for stores that didn't already give instant rebates.....now if you haven't sent your rebate form in, and you already bought your TomTom, you make out. What happens to those folks who already set in the $50 rebate form? Don't know yet.
What happens to those folks who bought and got and instant rebate of $50? Go back and look at the retailer’s price to see if you can get a price match for another $50 off.
Amazon already reflected the lower price on the line of TomTom devices; The TomTom ONE is now $399.

Does this include the rebate or is it exclusive of the rebate? Is it $299 w/ Rebate?
Amazon reflects an instant rebate of $100; so net price is what you see $399. On the rebate form, it excludes stores that reflect the rebate already, like Amazon.

Amazon mentions nothing about the "instant rebate" on their site which is why I asked. They just show a $102.99 discount which is much different than a rebate. I'd rather purchase at Amazon than "the nerds" which is why I ask.
Amazon is specifically excluded from this offer (among 129 excluded resellers!). There is a list of approved resellers on the Tomtom website, but beware... Many of the sellers on the list sell TomToms at extremely high prices (so that even with a $100 back it's still more than you would pay on Amazon), others don't even sell TomToms, and many don't even sell GPS units at all! WTF is up with this list! I am extremely annoyed with TomTom for putting together such a shoddy, worthless list of resellers for poor unsuspecting potential customers to have to sift through and ultimately come up with nothing.
