Based on Garmin's popular StreetPilot c330, the unit features a simple touchscreen interface with automatic route calculation to any destination and turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions along the way. The navigator contains detailed maps of the U.S. and Canada -- featuring addresses and nearly six million points of interest -- including hotels, restaurants, gas stations, ATMs, and tourist attractions. Car rental locations for both National and Alamo are included in the unit's database so drivers can easily route to a rental return facility.
"Garmin is pleased to be the new navigation provider for Vanguard Car Rental," said Dan Bartel, Garmin's vice president of worldwide sales. "These two leading brands are now able to provide their customers with a road-proven navigation device that makes any trip in an unfamiliar area stress-free and more enjoyable."
