I have a Garmin chartplotter 176c for my boat and have just under a hundred gps points I want to put in, fishing hot spots, is there an easier way to do it other than inputting each one manually?
I've owned a nuvi 660, 750 and now a 855. One of the most important features of a GPS is to know the name of the street you're approaching. Garmin has elected to delete this feature from the 855 and have it only display the name of the steet you're driving on. This single decision makes the 855 much less valuable than all previous models. I also can't find any way to determine if a different model offers this important feature. It's not part of the features list.
Nui's are wonderful GPS but if knowing the street you're approaching is important to you, think hard before buying the 855.

the off on switch, or lock/unlock seems to be spring loaded when pushed to the left, thus turning it off and returning to a little right of this position. It was driving me knutts, and then I saw what is happening. I know of many others who also wondered how to shut it down.
