INRIX, the leading provider of traffic information, today announced inclusion of its real-time traffic data in TeleNav Shotgun (http://www.telenav.com/shotgun), a new two-way, Internet-connected GPS personal navigation device (PND). Available for purchase immediately on TeleNav's Web site (http://www.telenav.com/), TeleNav Shotgun leverages INRIX's real-time traffic information in its suite of Internet-connected offerings that also includes updated maps, 11 million business listings and updated gas prices.

INRIX also delivers real-time traffic information for TeleNav GPS Navigator(TM), TeleNav's popular mobile phone-based GPS navigation service available through several major wireless carriers in the U.S.

"We selected INRIX as the traffic information provider for TeleNav Shotgun to help deliver the highest quality navigation experience to our customers," said HP Jin, TeleNav's president, CEO and co-founder. "Real-time traffic continues to be one of the most popular requests from our navigation subscribers."

Through TeleNav Connected Service(SM), TeleNav Shotgun uses INRIX real-time traffic information to monitor traffic conditions along drivers' routes and proactively searches for congestion or incidents. Customers will be alerted of traffic delays, both audibly and on-screen, and can choose an alternative route to their location with one touch. Users can also access specific incident information and determine the traffic speed/flow of major streets along their route. TeleNav Shotgun even displays an updated estimated time of arrival (ETA) based on traffic, speeds and distance.

"TeleNav GPS Navigator and TeleNav Shotgun are delivering on the promise of connected navigation services in the car, by providing a richer in-car experience through two-way connectivity," said Bryan Mistele, INRIX president and CEO.
