Magellan SE4 GPS - Appears for Black Friday Sale

BestBuy is selling the Magellan SE4 GPS for Black Friday as an exclusive item, making comparisons hard to the rest of the RoadMate line, but we'll walk through the features and the comparisons to map out what's going on for you. From comparing the Magellan SE4 to the Roadmate line, I believe the SE4 is based on the Magellan Roadmate 1420.

Hi,
I wanted to share some info on the Magellan Roadmate Series, especially the 1420 model. The difference between the SE4 and the 1420 Roadmate model is that the 1420 has an extra accessory feature, the Traffic Link, priced at $30-$80. The SE4 specifics note that there is no traffic and weather updates. Whereas on the 1420 it states in on the box as "sold seperately". I also checked out Magellan.com but there is no product named SE4, then I did a cross reference on the web for the traffic link accessory and found out that the 1420 Traffic Link model #: AXRDS1SXXUC is compatibe with the 1420 GPS but the SE4 Model #: RMXSE4SGXUH Traffic link is non existant. I received the Magellan 1420 for Christmas this year and to help out any readers doubts, I'll take my box to Bestbuy and compare just to make sure today. I let you know what I find out.
