Win "Must Have" Gear for 2008 from Wired Mag - Including a TomTom GO 930
So Wired Magazine has a bag of schwag available to win this year, and they claim that the contents are their must have items for hitting the road. One of those must have items is a TomTom GO 930 GPS, a pretty smart little GPS that has maps of North America and Europe, while offering Bluetooth Handsfree technology along the way.
The cool thing is that you can win the Bag of Gear from Wired if you qualify and sign up. Give away is open now for registration, closes 2/2/09 and has a retail value of about $8500. Not bad.

Gotta love a free GPS; well Tim Horton's is giving away 5,000 Garmin Nuvi 250 GPS navigation devices, as well as some other things like coffee, Toyota Matrix and a few boats. The contest is based on getting a coffee cup, and rolling up the coffee cup rim to see what you've won; odds are 1 in 9 that you win something (like a free coffee or better). Win a Garmin Nuvi 200
Garmin and their Garmin Blog are kicking off a contest for the summer which sounds pretty good and the ultimate prize is a new Garmin Nuvi 200. (More infor on the Nuvi 200 line - I reviewed the Nuvi 250.) The contest basically has you sending in a picture of yourself using a Garmin GPS while on a great summer adventure. Each week they pick the best who gets to move onto the final judging at the end of the summer. From among the best, they choose the ultimate winner at the end of the summer to win the prize.

Get Married - Get a Free Nuvi 350
Yea, there's a catch, you have to get married in WalMart. Walmart is giving away a wedding package to seven couples who will walk down the WalMart aisle on 07/07/07, and receive a prize package worth more than $5,000 (Why didn't they make it worth $7,777?). Anyway, one of the items in the package is a Garmin Nuvi 350.
So think about it, you can either get married in a WalMart and get a free Nuvi 350, or you could plunk down the $399 and skip the "dream" package.

I love the recent price cut on the TomTom ONE that lowered the price to below $300, well how about a free TomTom ONE.
